Our Lady of Knock ParishSPECIAL LENTEN OPPORTUNITIES
- Draw Close: Weekly Prayer & Creativity - Thursdays throughout Lent
Fr. Matt invites you to join him at St. Patrick Church each Thursday beginning at 1:00 PM during Lent. Using the book Draw Close: A Creative Companion for Lent, we will reflect on the themes of Lent using art, drawing, paint, and a variety of creative outlets to connect with God. All are invited, and don't worry: no skill is required!- Paschal Candles Making Workshop - April 8
Families and all interested individuals will learn about the meaning of the Paschal Candle that is blessed at the Easter Vigil Mass and used in church throughout the year. All will have the chance to make their own beautiful “Paschal Candle” and take it with them, allowing the Light of Christ into their home. Registration will be required prior to the evenCONFESSION MONDAYS
- In addition to the normal Saturday Confession times, each Monday from 6-7 PM during Lent Confessions will be heard at one of the churches of our parish to help parishioners connect with this penitential season.
- The Monday Confession schedule will be as follows:
- March 10 - St. Mary Star of the Sea Church
- March 17 - St. Patrick Church
- March 24 - St. Mary Star of the Sea Church
- March 31 - St. Patrick Church
- April 7 - St. Mary Star of the Sea Church
- April 14 - St. Patrick Church

HOLY HOUR & CONFESSIONS
- Each Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 PM, Eucharistic Adoration is offered at St. Patrick Church to give parishioners the chance to pray and connect with our Lord. Throughout this Holy Hour, Confessions are also offered.
- Confessions are also offered on Saturdays from 3:00-4:00 PM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church.
- A special Solemn Holy Hour will take place on Wednesday, April 2nd, with readings, prayerful darkness, and meditation mirroring the quiet of Jesus in the tomb on Holy Saturday.
SOUP & BREAD SUPPER / STATIONS OF THE CROSS
- Each Friday at 7 PM, the Stations of the Cross are prayed at one of our churches, with the location alternating each week. In addition, on some Fridays a simple Soup & Bread Supper is offered beginning at 6 PM to offer a simple and sacrificial opportunity to share a meal before prayerfully joining together for the beautiful devotion that follows.

Please Note:- March 7 & April 11: No Soup & Bread Supper will be offered this day as the Knights of Columbus will have their one of their Fish Fry events that evening at their Council Hall in Unionville.
CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY COLLECTION
- Our churches are once again offering the chance to participate in a meaningful Corporal Work of Mercy to help our neighbors in need. We will collect a number of helpful items to package into Brian Bags and give to the homeless and local charities. Our goal this year is to collect the items needed to complete and distribute 275 Brian Bags. There will be a large bin and display at each church for the collection of items. Physical gift card donations will also be accepted at our churches, and online monetary donations can be made through our website.
