Liturgy of the Word for Children

The Liturgy of the Word for Children is an opportunity at Our Lady of Knock Parish for our children to experience the Word of God in a way that speaks directly to them!

During the 8:30 AM Mass at St. Patrick Church and the 10:30 AM Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church each week, all children from Pre-K to Grade 5 are invited to come forward for a blessing and then go out to hear and learn about the day's readings from a team of instructors. This will provide these children with the chance to better understand the teachings and stories being proclaimed during the Mass. We hope that your children will participate in this wonderful moment of experiencing God's Word in a unique and special way.
 

Please note that the Liturgy of the Word for Children is not held on the First Sunday of each month, as it is replaced on that Sunday with the Children's Mass at both churches.
